“A Celebration of Young Writers” – Spring 2008
Join us for another year of a “Celebration of Young Writers.”
Creative Communication is pleased to announce our Spring 2008 Essay and Poetry contests .
Over $85,000 in prizes and awards will be given to students and schools in geographic regions across the U.S. and Canada. The Essay Contest divisions are: Grades 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12, with 10 top winners in each division for each region. To enter an essay, write 250 words or less on any non-fiction topic in English. The deadline for the Essay Contest is February 14, 2008.
The Poetry Contest divisions are: Grades K-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12, with10 top winners in each division for each region. To enter a poem, submit one original poem in English, 21 lines or less. The deadline for the Poetry Contest is April 8, 2008.
To submit your Essay or Poetry entry, you may enter online at: www.poeticpower.com or mail your entry to: Creative Communication, 1488 N 200 W Logan, UT 84341. Please include the author’s name, grade, address, city, state, and zip.
Please also include school name, school address and teacher’s name.
Selected entries of merit will be invited to be published in an anthology. This is not a contest where every entry is published. There is no entry fee or required purchase to be published. Teachers who have 5 or more students accepted receive a free book. Schools with 15 or more students accepted receive a free book and also qualify to apply for one of our $250 Language Arts Grants.

Both my poems were published in Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 edition Creative Communication. Unfourtanetly I never saw it. I was wondering if I may have a copy of my poems or if you can give me the name of the book so I can look for it.
