Rebecca Ward – Homeschooled Olympian

Rebecca (Becca) Ward, a homeschooler and the second-ranked women’s sabre fencer in the world is a member of the USA Fencing team. USA Fencing announced the 2008 Olympic team at their website here.

Rebecca’s Mom reports that Becca will fence on August 9th. A recent interview, Speaking with Becca Ward By Martin Thorstensson gives us a quick glimpse of Rebecca, her thoughts on the upcoming Olympic Games and her upcoming year as a freshman at Duke this fall.
