The Paper Back Swap allows readers to trade books for free. They state that:
We see our members trade about 35,000 books a week,†says Co-Founder and avid reader Richard Pickering. With this explosion of interest in trading books, our members can select from any genre to satisfy their literary desires.
The way the club works is that a member selects a book they would like and the system then sends an email to the member that has that book. The book owner mails the book to the individual wanting it and receives a credit for a future book.
The credit for book trade system can also be used with their sister site, www.swapaCD.com
If you want a book that isn’t listed, you can add it to your personal wish list and PaperBackSwap will reserve it for you when someone lists it.
I explored the site myself to see if there might be any books homeschoolers might be interested in and there were. It is definitely worth investigating.
