High-adventure novel on line

Online publisher ThreeCatsWrite announces a free – and innovative – teaching tool for homeschoolers.

The cats of three children’s book authors are collaborating on a high-adventure novel to be serialized on the blog: www.threecatswrite.com. The first installment will go online Monday, September 25 and continuations will run weekdays through November 17. (Archives will still be online after this date.)

The Amber Baboon is written by Jemima, Apollo and Asta who reside with authors Natasha Wing, Barbara Kerley and Mary Nethery. The quick-paced, child-friendly story stars a catologist, a philanthropist, and a gumshoe detective who travel to Egypt in search of the tomb of Queen Neferkitti.

On Thursdays, blog fans will have a chance to drop in on the feline authors as they discuss the writing of the novel.

The Thursdays with Three Cats will feature tips geared toward children 8-12. Readers are invited to join the writing experience through Name-the-Thug and Submit-a-Story contests.

This is available free online from the authors, so if you know of any other homeschoolers who might be interested in using this new andinteractive reading experience, please pass this blog address on: www.threecatswrite.com.
