Looking for some “Good Stuff” for a learning project for your group or family?

Rebecca Rupp offers some great ideas in her HEM March- April 2007 Good Stuff Column, Knitting, Mittens, Math and More.

I also learned that www.MenKnit.net offers a history of knitting that states that the art of knitting originated with men? Rebecca goes on to share many great knitting resources, including some online. One of those I have been enjoying is Thomasina’s Gide to Geeky Knitting. As Rebecca points out in her article, “This site takes kintting to the sciences, with a plate tectonics scarf, an assortment of kinitted dinosaurs and nautilodids, and a great knitted DNA model.
