Another reason to homeschool: soda pop
I was avoiding this entire subject, but a Google alert popped it up.

Write you (sic) school. Visit the principal. Call Clinton. Complain to the beverage companies. Consider a private school or home-schooling and join silent, panoramic Exodus of the growing number of parents who are taking a tip from the Libertarians, realizing the US government is just another business service gone sour with compulsory programs of the week hatched by strange alliances of crackpot fanatics–and just taking their business elsewhere.
My question about this brouhaha is, when are these kids doing all this drinking? I remember milk break in elementary school, water fountains otherwise, and drinks at lunch. For the most part there was no drinking of anything.
And as for homeschooling-for-soda pop, please, sir, don’t help. Adding soda-guzzling to the homeschool stereotype isn’t something most advocates and support-groups are looking for as a cause.
