Kelly to step down as CCHS principal, 15 January 2008, Charles City Press, Charles City, Iowa
Earlier Monday evening, Chris Hageman, coordinator of the Home School Assistance Program (HSAP), delivered a presentation to the Board and the public about HSAP.
Hageman, along with the Board, hope to eliminate public perception that the HSAP program costs the School District more money than it generates.
Bradley said actual expenditures for the HSAP program were lower than anticipated.
Hageman said the HSAP program is win-win for the District and students because it generates more money than it costs, and research shows that home school students score high overall in achievement scores often reaching and exceeding the 70-80 percentile.
