Texas robotics

The second annual regional robotics fest for the Houston area, Robofest, was held on April 22nd.  The winners will be attending the World Robofest 2006 Championship in Michgan.

Congratulations to all the winners:

  • 1. Senior Game division
    1st place Botoxic – Woodlands Academy of Science and Technology
    2nd place Judges – Robotics Weirdos – Austin Area Homeschoolers
  • 2. Junior Game division
    1st place Geek Squad – from one of the Woodlands Junior high public schools, was menotored by Botoxic
    2nd place – Silver Pirates – a team that includes private and homeschool team members, including members of the FLL Pirates team that competed in Austin two years in row.
  • 3 Junior Exhibition
    1st place  ACMLAC – team members are from ICARE homeschool group including Pastor Ron Gogs and his wife Gayle who made arrangements for St Matthews to host the event for the 2nd year.  The other exhibition team was a public school afterschool program from West University Elementary School in Houston.
