- The Wichita Eagle, Wichita, Kansas, 26 February 2006, Built to build and bulldoze: Lego engineers mix science, creativity
Knocking down the stones of Stonehenge was another mind-bender, requiring the robots to go in a circle rather than a straight line. The St. Jude Rockets from Wichita’s St. Jude Catholic School used a roaming boom to do the knocking down, while the Warriors from the Wichita Homeschool Lego Robotics Team used a wide robot that looked like a combine.
And the winners are …..
- First place: Wichita Homeschool Lego Robotics Team
Second place: Pathfinders West Wichita Homeschool Group
Third place: Eighth Wonders from McLean Science/ Technology Magnet School
Congratulations to all who participated.
