From MacKay’s Daily Mercury:
Home-schooled trio of graduates grateful to their parents By Ebony Battersby
LOCAL teenagers Lainie Lanzon, Tess Lanzon and Esther May are tired of the negative connotations that surround children who are home-schooled.
The trio, who graduated from their secondary education in an independent ceremony on Thursday evening, have been granted the same privileges as conventional students.
“The question we are asked most often is how do we make friends,” said Lainie.
“We aren’t isolated guinea pigs,” she laughed.
The three young women marked the occasion of finishing school with an intimate celebration with family, friends and their respective dates.
“We had such a great night,” Tess said.
