Homeschoolers are required to be degree holders capable of teaching. I homeschooled my son for 4 years. In first grade, his placement test results took him to take 2nd grade MATH and LANG. ARTS. His 3rd grade reading assessments marked above 6th grade level. His CRT test results was at the top percentile rank statewide and SALTA program (individual-based accelerated learner’s program)offered by Canyon District, for last and this coming schoolyear. It’s up to parent’s spirited guidance, encouragement and support to help their children climb up the education ladder to advancement.
