2008 presidential candidates’ stands on education issues
Supports school choice, wants to give tax credits to parents who choose to home-school their children and plans to place instructional focus on math and science.
Wants to expand charter schools, supports public school choice and home schooling and hopes to increase arts education.
Wants to abolish the federal Department of Education, returning control of education to states. Also supports giving educational choice back to parents, giving tax credits to those who choose to send their children to private schools and supporting home schooling.
