Uhm, I don’t whether to cheer, laugh, or cry.
Cheer because of the effort.
Laugh because it’s so crazy it just might work.
Cry because, actually, the odds of it working are slim to none.

I think the odds are greater than the odds of putting a man on the moon, than the odds of women getting the right to vote, than the odds of ending slavery, than the odds of liberty from England.
But I look upon America’s history as one replete with change, and I love the underdog…

Since “A Petition Calling For the Dismantling of the No Child Left Behind Act” was posted about two weeks ago, some 17,590 persons have signed. It is well worth the time to spend 10 minutes reading the sad and angry comments and to get a sense of the frustration teachers and parents feel.
I’ve never met a homeschooling parent who likes the “No Child Left Behind” legislation. I urge all homeschoolers to show solidarity with our fellow educators in the public sector and stand against NCLB.
It is the least we can do.
