In a week when homeschoolers in New Hampshire have successfully worked against an attempt to increase regulations we find this headline:
The Importance Of A Home School Inspection
(found on the Home School News Blog)
The summary:
Ultimately, a home school inspection is for the good of the child. If you keep that in mind, it is less of an inconvenience and more of a necessary component of home schooling. Remember that home schooling is a responsibility and should be treated as such. A symbiotic relationship between you and the school district will only benefit your child and foster a greater educational experience.
You can look at this site, see what is going on there, and reasonably discount the article and the seriousness of the site. Yet, it is out there adding to the misunderstanding of homeschooling.

Arrrgh. And that’s not pirate-speak. I Googled it, and boy it got the morning off to a bad start.
That site looks like a link farm. And it reads like an elaborate hoax. Yuck.
