		<description>My child currently attends a NYC private school. Teacher felt trading the bands were too distracting in class.I have also heard the reason for banning them is fear they cut off circulation.

No talk at all about sexualy favors, but then again my child attends a single sex school and is under 10.</description>

I do find it absurd that they would ban them though.  Would like to hear the states reasoning on it.</description>
