Whereas legislators are considering tax breaks for homeschoolers; and
Whereas a homeschool group representing a fraction of the community lobbies for said tax breaks;
our representatives need to know the true feelings of the homeschooling community.

Why are homeschoolers against tax credits?

I don’t think we should do tax breaks because not everyone can or should homeschool, so why deprive those families? Schools are already underfunded. I would be willing to pay a little bit more for more money to the schools. I feel we need to be concerned with not just our own children but every child in our communities, both on a micro scale and a macro scale.
