The Mountain Home Area Lions homeschool basketball team came up just short in a 60-58 loss to the Lebanon, Mo., Rockets Saturday afternoon at Pinkston Middle School.
Lebanon took the lead on a basket with :03.7 remaining, but Mountain Home had a chance for one last shot after a timeout. Philip Kapler’s last-ditch attempt found the basket, but time had expired before the shot was released and the Rockets slipped away with the two-point win.
