It’s the good life for Jason, 18 January 2008, Manchester Evening News, Manchester, England, UK
“I want to be able to get up in the morning and take a walk on my own land, chop up some wood for the fire and camp out with the children,” he says.
For Jason and his wife Amanda their own good life has been a dream long in the making and his appearance at this year’s caravan show is the final piece in that jigsaw.
“We have been planning to do this for some time now,” Jason tells me. “We already school all six of our children at home – there are some unpleasant influences out there these days and we wanted more control over their morals and character. Home schooling does that and it works well with what we have planned in future.
The words “the good life” refer to a television program called The Good Life in England, and broadcast on PBS in the United States as Good Neighbors. It sounds as if Jason Robinson has “the good life” in mind, supported by homeschooling, as his model.
