It’s not news to any homeschooling parent, but Dana has a blog post about the ‘public’ view of homeschooling folks as just hanging out around the house with oodles of wasted time. I copied my favorite tactic from Dana’s list.

Respecting your time: Ten not so respectful answers

Change your answering machine message: “We’re sorry. The number you have dialed has been disconnected. Please hang up and try again.”
