Families celebrate home schooling, 13 May, 2008, Community Press & Recorder, Florence, Kentucky
The group has a Web site, www.thinkathome.com, and they have a special meeting every August called a program fair, which provides information for parents new to homeschooling. In addition, every monthly meeting begins at 7 p.m., but from 6:30 to 7 pm the time is devoted to questions and answers from new and potentially new families.

“More families are seeing homeschooling as an educational alternative,” said Jeff Foss. “It is much more accepted now. Parents, who are the ultimate educators, give a more personalized education to their children. And our group, THINK, and a state based group, CHEK, help families who are considering homeschooling get a foothold on where to start and what it entails.”
