AZJournal.com, Holbrook, Arizona, 2 February 2007, County School Superintendent And Staff Provide A Myriad Of Services
The educational services duties include being responsible for the home schooling in the county. If a child is not enrolled in a regular school setting (such as a private, charter or public school), the parent must file an “Affidavit of Intent” with the county school superintendent’s office within 30 days of the child beginning home schooling. Likewise, if a child is re-enrolled in a regular school setting and is no longer being home schooled, the office must be notified of the change.
Filing the affidavit is Arizona law, but I fail to see how that’s a “service.” A requirement, yes, but not a “service.” The person doing the work is the parent.
