Getting Started with Homeschooling?

This time of year always brings a landslide of inquiries about homeschooling, and over the years we’ve developed a wide selection of resources to help you learn more about homeschooling – many available free right here on our HEM website!

For starters we have a whole section devoted to the questions and concerns people have when they begin looking into homeschooling. We call it Welcome to Homeschooling, and it includes helpful and informative articles, resources, an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), and a link to other free online services and resources!

The free HEM Archive of Back Issues is a treasure trove of great reading for anyone looking for information about homeschooling. We’ve made several articles and columns from each issue available to read free online – and you can search for something you have specific questions about by using our free search engine, too!

We also offer a collection of Free Online Resources, including free newsletters, weblogs, discussion lists and forum, and more!

For hands-on help we offer many combination book and magazine packages like our Decision Makers Package, the Getting Started Package, and specialty packages like the Special Needs Package or the Unschooling Package.
