Jeanne Faulconer is the Articles Editor for Home Education Magazine, and she handles everything related to the many articles which run in HEM, from reading query letters and submissions from writers to assisting those writers revise when necessary, often suggesting photos or sidebars to accompany articles, and helping polish every submission accepted for publication into the homeschooling-related gems you’ll find in each issue.
Jeanne is also managing editor of VaHomeschoolers Voice. She is a member of the board of directors of The Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers and Family and Home Network. She and husband Rick have three sons, ages 21, 19 and 11, and they have homeschooled in North Carolina, Mississippi, and Virginia. A long-time La Leche League Leader, Jeanne enjoys writing, the outdoors, and speaking about homeschooling and family life. Jeanne is also now a contributing writer for the HEM Editor’s blog, and her first post, Homeschooled Kids Blogging, shares her son’s newfound interest in blogging and information about a Homeschooled Kids Blog Carnival!
